From your first quote to installation, takedown, and storage, we make the entire Christmas light process simple, seamless, and stress-free. Let us walk you through what to expect at every step and show you just how easy it can be to enjoy a beautifully lit home without lifting a finger.
1. Quote & Scheduling
Getting started is easy! Simply fill out our quote form or give us a call or text with a few details about your home or business. Within 24 hours, we’ll create a custom quote and lighting design specifically tailored to your property, so your display looks intentional, polished, and uniquely yours.
Once you approve your quote, we’ll get you on the calendar! Christmas light installation spots fill up quickly, so we recommend securing your preferred installation date early with a 50% deposit.
If your installation date is flexible, no worries! We’ll work with you to find a date that fits our schedule. Just keep in mind that a 50% deposit is required no later than two weeks before your scheduled installation date. This allows us to secure, prepare, and organize all of your materials ahead of installation day.
2. Installation Day
The most exciting part of the season is here—it’s installation day! Our professional crews will arrive ready to transform your property while treating your home or business with the care and respect it deserves.
You don’t even have to be present! Once your display is installed, we’ll make sure everything is properly connected and set up on a timer according to your preferred on and off times. Then, when the sun goes down, your home is ready to shine!
3. Takedown & Storage
When the holidays come to an end, we’ll take care of the takedown, too! After the New Year, we’ll begin scheduling takedowns and coordinate a time that works for you.
Our professional crew will carefully remove your lighting display, then label and organize everything so it’s ready for next season. If you’ve chosen Heavenly Lit Storage, we’ll place your lights in our secure, climate-controlled storage and keep them safe throughout the year. If you’ve opted to store your lights yourself, we’ll neatly place your organized display into the storage bin you provide.
Either way, you won’t have to worry about climbing ladders, untangling lights, or figuring out what goes where. We’ll leave everything organized and ready for next season!
Please note: ALL Christmas light displays must be taken down no later than January 31st.
4. Next Year's Rehang
The best part? Once you’ve completed your first season with us, the process gets even easier!
The following year, you’ll only pay your rehang and takedown fee—no need to purchase your lighting display again—you OWN your lights!
Beginning in August, we’ll reach back out to start coordinating your rehang and secure your spot on the calendar. Since installation spots fill quickly, this is the perfect time to get your preferred date locked in for the upcoming season.
If you’ve chosen to store your lights yourself, all we’ll need is for your storage bin to be placed outside in a safe, accessible location for our crew to pick up and rehang your display.
If you’ve opted for Heavenly Lit Storage, you won’t need to worry about a thing! Our crew will arrive with your lights already organized and ready to go, so your home can be lit up and ready to celebrate another Heavenly Lit Season.
And just like that, you’re ready to repeat Steps 3 & 4 for years to come! 🎄

Do I need to be home for installation?
No! You don’t need to be home for your installation. As long as our crew has safe access to the areas needed, we can take care of everything while you go about your day. Once installed, your lights will be connected to a timer and programmed according to your preferred schedule.
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
Every property is different, so pricing depends on the size and layout of your home or business, the amount of lighting, materials, and complexity of the design. We’ll provide a custom quote so you know exactly what your display will cost before moving forward.
Do you offer Christmas light storage?
Yes! We offer convenient, climate-controlled storage so you don’t have to worry about finding space for your lights during the off-season. We’ll carefully remove, label, organize, transport, and store your display until it’s time to light up your home again.
When do you take the lights down?
Takedowns begin after the New Year and are scheduled with you in advance. All Christmas light displays must be taken down no later than January 31st.
Can I lock in my future rehang price?
Yes! We offer a Guaranteed Rehang Price option that allows you to lock in your rehang price for 1–5 years. This is a great option if you already know you want to enjoy a Heavenly Lit Season year after year.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes! Heavenly Lit provides a season-long workmanship warranty on materials and equipment supplied by Heavenly Lit. The warranty does not cover damage caused by severe weather, animals, power surges, tampering, or other circumstances outside of our workmanship or control. Customer-provided materials are not covered under our warranty.
Do you offer permanent lighting?
Absolutely! In addition to seasonal Christmas lighting, we offer professionally installed permanent lighting using Govee Pro Lighting and low-profile Alloy Tracks designed to blend seamlessly with your home’s trim. Permanent lighting can be customized year-round for holidays, celebrations, everyday accent lighting, and more.
